Almost a week after performing a moving tribute to her idol Whitney Houston at the 2012 Grammys, Jennifer Hudson returns to the stage during the 43rd NAACP Image Awards held at The Shrine Auditorium tonight Feb 17, in Los Angeles, California.

Not only did the Oscar winner picked up the award for Outstanding Album, but Jennifer and Ne-Yo performed Ain’t No Mountain High Enough during the honoring of George Lucas.

Sanaa Lathan and Anthony Mackie hosted the event and George Lucas was awarded with the prestigious Vanguard Award. Viola Davis won for Outstanding Actress for her role in The Help and Octavia Spencer won Outstanding supporting role. Tracee Ellis Ross won for TV actress.

Yolanda Adams performed a tribute to Whitney Houston, while LL Cool J was awarded for Outstanding Actor in a Drama Series for “NCIS: Los Angeles.” Hunky rocker Lenny Kravitz opened the show and The Help won for Outstanding Motion Picture - Check out TONS of photos of the show, winners and the arrivals inside.
