Kanye West Performs ‘Black Skinhead’ & ‘New Slaves’ on SNL [Watch]

Kanye West performed two new songs from his upcoming album “Yeezus” last night on SNL. Check out the album cover below.

He first did “Black Skinhead” – to which he later shared the lyrics on his twitter – and the other single was “New Slaves” which made its projected debut on the sides of 66 buildings located around the world, including New York, Los Angeles, Paris, Toronto, London, Berlin, Sydney and his home town Chicago.

This is the 3rd collab between the two entertainers, following the highly successful “Dance Again” and “One The Floor.”

The video also features America’s Next Top model winner Eva Marcille.

Candice Glover Wins ‘American Idol’ Season 12 [Video]

Candice Glover won season 12 of American Idol.

“I don’t remember him saying my name. I do remember confetti getting in my mouth,” the 23-year-old singer who auditioned in seasons 9 and 11 said after her big win.

It was a packed night of performances for the season finale – with judges Mariah Carey and Keith Urban taking the stage to perform. There was also a tribute to departing judge Randy Jackson.

An array of guest stars as well as former contestants took the stage including Adam Lambert and Jennifer Hudson.

Entertainers like former judge Jennifer Lopez, the queen of soul Aretha Fraklin, Korean rapper Psy, Emele Sande and Jessie J also performed. Check out some highlights from the show below, including Candice’s final emotional performance

Yeezy Your favorite angry rapper Kanye West performed at Carton Network’s Adult Swim Upfront event in New York City last evening, (May 15) at the Roseland Ballroom.

During the hour long surprise appearance, the dad to be performed songs from his upcoming album and did what he does best: rant about being a celebrity. He also had a few things to say about his recent run in with the paparazzi where HE walked into a sign and his upcoming appearance on SNL.

How you gonna bitch and complain about the paparazzi, yet you’re dating someone who LOVES the attention?!

LOL – You’re Fucked Yeezy. You know it. We all know it. Now deal with it!

Kris Kross Member Laid To Rest: Chris Smith’s Emotional Remarks During Chris Kelly’s Funeral [Video]

Jermaine Dupri and Chris “Daddy Mac” Smith said goodbye to their friend Chris “Mac Daddy” Kelly at his funeral at the Jackson Memorial Baptist Church, in Atlanta yesterday.

The 34-yr-old entertainer who was part of the rap duo Kris Kross died on May 1 of an apparent drug overdose.

Chris aka Daddy Mac gave an emotional eulogy, in which he confessed, “It’s been like a struggle for me every day. This morning when I woke up this peace came over me, cuz I know Chris is in Heaven.”

He ended his speech with, “I just wanna say I love you man and imma miss you daily. I could say Kris Kross forever, but I know without Chris my life, it ain’t never gonna be the same, but I just hope that our legacy for Hip Hop is never forgotten. But imma do my part tho to make sure Chris memory live on.”
