Here’s what the gorgeous 15-yr old daughter of the late-great Michael Jackson had to share.

On memories of Michael: “I have lots of memories of my father. He was an incredible father. We all loved him to death. He’d try to educate us as much as he could and was always looking out for us. He was very protective.”

On why Michael made her and her siblings wear masks in public: “He didn’t want anyone to see what we looked like. That way we could have what he didn’t, which was a normal childhood.”

Three years after the death of her iconic father, a strikingly-fresh-faced Paris Jackson is ready to step into the spotlight and out of her father’s shadow.

“I love my dad, and I’m proud to be his daughter. I just don’t think the title ‘M.J.’s daughter’ fits me.” Paris told the October 2012 issue of Glamour Magazine. “A lot of people think he’s the only reason I’m making it, but I want to show that I do have talent and that I can make it if I try. I want to be my own person.”

Paris went on to say that some of her family members support her first movie role in “Lundon’s Bridge and The Three Keys,” but others wish she’s wait to become an actress. “A lot of people don’t want me to do it [her aunt Janet Jackson has said, "She has the rest of her adult life to be that actress that she wants to be... Your childhood—you completely lose."], but Aunt La Toya believes in me. She heard me play a little guitar and sing, and she started clapping, ‘Oh my God, oh my God.’ She really does encourage me; it’s just awesome of her.”

And when it comes to school, the gorgeous teen reveal she’s not popular and is ofter ridicule for being different. “The clique in my class, they don’t like me or my friend because we’re outside of the box. We’re not copycats. Prince calls me goth, but I’m more rock ‘n’ roll. (I listen to older music like AC/DC; Phil Collins is the ish.) A ton of kids at school have made fun of me; if I had to give advice to other girls, I would say, ‘Hang loose and ignore them. They shouldn’t faze you no matter how popular they think they are.’”

Paris Jackson Talks Growing Up with Famous Dad Michael on Ellen [Video]

Michael Jackson’s daughter Paris, stopped by Ellen for her first solo interview, which airs tomorrow Dec 15

The 13-yr-old talked about growing up with her famous father, adjusting to life as a “normal” kid and her acting career.

On wearing a mask as a child: “Yeah, I’m like, ‘This is stupid; why am I wearing a mask?’ But I kind of realized the older I got, like, he only tried to protect us and he’d explain that to us, too.”

On Michael’s most memorable words to her: “He said, ‘If I die tomorrow always remember what I told you.’ I took his advice and I remembered everything he told me.”

On Michael inspiring her acting and doing improv: “When I was really little. My Dad was in the movie Moonwalker and I knew he could sing really well but I didn’t know he could act. I saw that and I said, ‘Wow, I want to be just like him… We would do improv together. He would give us little scenarios. He would (say,) ‘Ok, in this scene you’re going to cry and I’d cry on the spot.”

On going to a normal school: “I love it. It’s definitely a different experience. … I do have like a regular childhood. I mean, I’m treated the same. When I came to Buckley (her school) they didn’t know who I was. I was like, ‘Yes, I have a chance to be normal.’” – check out the clip below . . .

ELITE Private School for Michael Jackson’s eldest children

TMZ reports that Prince, 13, and Paris, 12, are enrolled at one of the most exclusive private schools in the country after being homeschooled their entire life.

Prince and Paris Jackson will embark on a new experience as they study and socialize with other children at the exclusive Buckley School in Los Angeles’ San Fernando Valley.

Unfortunately for Blanket, 8, he will remain homeschooled as his grandmother Katherine Jackson feels he’s too young to venture out.

Among some of the Buckley School’s famous alums are Nicole Richie, Paris Hilton, Kim Kardashian, Alyssa Milano and Matthew Perry.

I hope these kids have a happy, safe, normal and joyous life.
