Nicole Richie was fierce with her newly dyed hair at the 2013 MEt Gala last night (May 6) in New York City.
The 31-yr-old wore a Topshop high-neck long sleeve fully embroidered column gown, Vero Cuoio shoes, a vintage silver Francesca Pepe ring and a House of Harlow 1960 clutch.
And even bad girl Rihanna tweeted her stamp of approval for Nicole’s bold punk-rock look and crowned her best dressed, “This bitch makes me throw up!!#bestdressed #2013metgala @nicolerichie,” she tweeted

Nicole Richie Launches Fragrance at Macy’s!

Nicole Richie attends the launching of her first fragrance “Nicole” at Macy’s Glendale Galleria, in Glendale California last night Aug 29.
The new fragrance is “reminiscent of the ladylike qualities of her mother,” and “holds notes of blackberry, orange, vanilla, golden amber, Moroccan rose, lily of the valley and papyrus, and sandalwood along with a few other ingredients.”
In a recent interview the 30-yr-old former badgirl-turned fashion designer and mom said, “I’m very particular in the way that I create. We’re in an interesting time right now where women aren’t just one thing — there are many different parts to a woman. So I wanted to create a very intricate bottle that was still elegant, but not so in-your-face girly at the same time.”

Former bad girl turned designer Nicole Richie covers the July 2012 issue of UK’s Company Magazine.
Here are some highlights from the interview:
On her must-haves this season: “I would have to say the Carmen sunglasses from the House of Harlow 1960 collection. I am so pleased that the Chelsea sunglasses are so popular! As for shoes, I love the gold Kail slipper shoe as they are so vibrant, and the Neelo jumpsuit from the WinterKate range – it is super comfortable but chic.”
On inspirations behind the collection: “The S/S12 range was inspired by my travels to the Souks of Marrakech, as well as Egyptian Sarcophagus. The feminine qualities are juxtaposed with intricate woven details, saturated colours and hardware that bring the old world to the present day. For A/W12, the collections are inspired by the 1970s and gothic rock.”

We love a good comeback story…. don’t you?
Anywho, the 30-year-old fashionista gets glammed-up for the June 2012 issue of Glamour magazine. Check out some excerpts and images from the shoot below
On whether she thinks of herself as a trendsetter: “No! [Laughs.] My world is small. I have my circle of 10 friends, my kids, my family. None of them call me a trendsetter.”
On business start up advice: “Study your craft. Know it well before you jump in. I wait all the time. Because I don’t want to just put my name on something and then release it. What’s the point of that?”
On her body image: ”I feel [gets all fake dramatic]…great about my body. [Laughs.] You know, aesthetically I can be picky, but I choose not to. I’ve taken huge leaps. I’m proud of that. I work out, and I get lots of sleep, and so I feel great. And that is most important.”

Former party girl Nicole Richie covers the latest issue of Ocean Drive Magazine.
In the interview, the 30-yr-old fashionista talks her new life as her mom, marriage and her old ways.
On her husband, Good Charlotte front man Joel Madden: “Joel and I are complete polar opposites. He’s from southern Maryland. He’s very family-oriented. He grew up with four brothers and sisters. When we met, I was definitely going through a difficult time with my family, and having him have such a strong foundation really opened the doors and brought both of our families together.”
On her children’s personalities: “My daughter looks exactly like me, and she has Joel’s personality. She’s very careful. She doesn’t make a move without fully thinking about what the consequences would be and what that means. Sparrow looks exactly like Joel and has my personality. He’s just wild. I’m in for the ride. He’s two, and we’ve had broken fingers, we’ve been to the hospital. You cannot take your eye off of him for a second. He is just a full, free spirit.”
On her old partying ways: “You have to remember that I was 20 years old. I don’t know anybody who can look back at who they were at 20 and say, ‘I’m the exact same person.’ It’s all about evolving and growing. Who we are in our 30s is obviously very different than who we are in our 20s.”

Nicole Richie and Sofia Vergara both looked stunning at the 2012 Golden Globe Awards held at The Beverly Hilton Hotel last evening Jan 15 in Beverly Hills, California.
The fashion designer shimmered in a silver Julien Macdonald gown and Jimmy Choo shoes. She finished her look with her very own House of Harlow clutch.
The 39-yr-old Modern Family actress who was nominated for Best Supporting Actress in a Series, Miniseries or Motion Picture Made for Television for her role as Gloria, flaunted her hourglass figure in a strapless blue Vera Wang custom gown. Draped in jewelry by Harry Winston, Sofia accepted the Best TV Comedy Award for ABC’s Modern Family along with show director Steven Levitan.
