Martin Lawrence and his wife Shamicka Lawrence are getting divorced after two years of marriage.
A rep for the couple released a statement today, saying “Martin and Shamicka Lawrence have decided to divorce. The couple has made the joint decision to part ways. Out of love and respect for one another we will continue to remain friends and raise our two beautiful daughters together.”
The couple dated for 15 years before making it official in their Beverly Hills home back in 2010. They have two children.
Martin just finished a nationwide sold-out comedy tour and shot a comedy pilot for CBS.

Funny-man Martin Lawrence married his long-time girlfriend Shamicka Gibbs in a quiet ceremony last Saturday. The event took place at Martin’s palatial Beverly Hills home.
Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem have tied the knot in front of family members during a small, private ceremony held at a friend’s home in the Bahamas earlier this month, her rep confirms to People.
