Mariah Carey premiered a family-friendly version of her music video “#Beautiful” featuring Miguel on Thursday night’s “American Idol.”
“What you just saw was a toned down version for idol 
my original cut coming to vevo momentarily!” the entertainer tweeted to her fans.
Later, the original video was released on VEVO, “Check out the original cut of my brand new video #Beautiful ft. Miguel!!!” she wrote.

Mariah Carey has finally released her highly anticipated track with Miguel, called “#Beautiful.” – which is available on iTunes
Here’s what the ‘American Idol” judge had to say about working with the ‘Adorn’ singer in a recent interview with Ryan Seacrest.
“I’m a huge fan of his music and I think everybody is so blown away by him right now … We got together, he had starting writing this song with just the guitar riff… and I have to say this about him as a collaborator, sometimes when you haven’t worked with somebody you don’t know really what they do in the studio …and if they have the same kind of love for music that I have … and he’s the truth. We just wanted to do something different that has a texture that feels fresh.”

Mariah Carey celebrated St. Patrick’s Day with hubby Nick Cannon and their adorable twins Moroccan and Monroe.
The 42-yr-old American Idol Judge, took to social media and shared the photos of her family all dressed in green for the Irish holiday.
“Roc & Roe celebrate the day! #Dembabies #StPatricksDay” she tweeted and shared a photo of her two year old twins. “Dembabies still celebrating!” she wrote in another post.
Along with balancing motherhood and working as a judge on American Idol, Mariah is working on a new album and has enlisted producers like Jermaine Dupri, Bryan-Michael Cox, Big Jim Wright, Hit-Boy, The-Dream and Rodney Jerkins for tracks for her 2013 album. More >

The much talked about interview of Mariah Carey chatting with Barbara Walters aired last night on Nightline. During the sit-down, the glamorous pop-diva dished on music, motherhood, hubby Nick Cannon and her relationship with fellow new judge on American Idol, Nicki Minaj.
On her $18 million salary for the new season of American Idol: “I think we’re in the ballpark, [but] I can’t even talk about those things.”
On her feud with Nicki Minaj: ”It felt like an unsafe work environment. Anytime anybody’s reeling threats at somebody, you know, it’s not appropriate. I’m a professional. I’m not used to that type of environment.”
On getting extra security after the feud: “I just felt it was the appropriate thing to do,” she said. “Sitting there on the road with two babies, I’m not going to take any chances…. ”For all the drama, I hope it helps the show,” Carey said. “I think it’s a classic, classy show and it didn’t need this.”
On Nick Cannon’s health scare last year: “It was very serious, but he’s got some great doctors who really got in there and helped him out and at this point he is doing great,” she said. “He’s better than ever.”
On her twin daughter Monroe: ”I call her Miss Monroe, and that kind of dictated her personality,” Carey said of her daughter. “She’s a total diva. She’s into jewelry. She’s fascinated by jewelry.”
On her son Morrocan: ”He’s my pal,” Carey said. “He’ll just watch movies with me. We’ve watched ‘Shrek’ I don’t know how many times. We watch movies all the time together, relax. He’s more chill.”

The new season of American Idol is right around the corner and the judges are featured on the latest issue of The Hollywood Reporter.
NewcomersMariah Carey, Nicki Minaj and Keith Urban will join original judge Randy Jackson and host Ryan Seacrest when the twelfth season premieres Jan 16, on FOX.
Here’s what the new judges had to share with the publication:
Keith Urban: “I like helping artists get rid of the cheesy crap around them that they haven’t yet figured out they don’t need,” he says. “I wish I had more of that. I had to learn a lot of it myself.”
Mariah Carey: “I was on the fence about the whole thing. I got approached by all the shows.” Ultimately, she said yes to Idol with the urging of her husband, America’s Got Talent host Nick Cannon on rival network NBC. “He said I should do it because it’s the top, it’s the cream of the crop. And I felt like, ‘Do the show that’s produced massive stars who have had major careers.’ ” On the panel, Carey serves as the music industry lifer but says she generally focuses on vocal chops. “I know everyone’s like, ‘We can’t have schmaltzy answers,’ ” she says. “Well guess what? Some people still want to be inspired. Some people need to have that kind of validation and to feel like, if this person did it, then I can. And I do have one of those stories.” More >

Mariah Carey and daughter Monroe were spotted leaving their Tribeca apartment yesterday Oct 22, in New York City.
The American Idol judge rocked all black everything, including her trademark sunglasses and a designer scarf. Her adorable 17-month darling who has a twin brother Moroccan, wore a cute sweater, plaid skirt, hair bow and cute pink eyeglasses, while holding on to her pink stuffed bunny.
