E! new correspondent Alicia Quarles, actress Gabourey Sidibe, entertainer Jennifer Lopez and style icon Iman were some of the attendees at the 4th Annual amfAR Inspiration Gala New York at The Plaza Hotel last night, June 13, in New York City.

JLo was honored with the Humanitarian Award, for her support of a range of causes, including charitable activities post September 11, Children’s Hospital Los Angeles and the American Red Cross., she tweeted: “What a beautiful evening at #amfARInspiration! Kanye West at the H&M Collaboration with Maison Martin Margiela Gala!

Kanye West was on hand last evening to help celebrate the global launch of the newest collaboration between Maison Martin Margiela and H&M at 5 Beekman in New York City. He rocked a camel coat from the upcoming fusion collection. The Maison Martin Margiela with H&M collection will be launched on November 15th in around 230 H&M stores worldwide.

Noticeably absent was his gal-pal Kim Kardashian, who attended a charity event with rapper the night before. Perhaps he’s not quite comfortable taking her to his fashion events? yeah, kinda makes sense, based on her new “sophisticated“ fashion choices.
