The alleged physical altercation between Frank Ocean and Chris Brown is now closed without any charges being filed.
Los Angeles police opened a misdemeanor battery investigation after it was alleged that Chris assaulted Frank outside a recording studio last week.
After the incident, Frank and told officials he was “desirous of prosecution in this incident,” but later took to his Tumblr page and announced that he had no intentions of filing a civil lawsuit, or criminal charges and he wanted the matter closed. More >

Chris Brown and Frank Ocean were involved in a fight at Westlake Studio in Los Angeles last night Jan 27.
According to reports aka TMZ, Chris was at the studio listening to some tracks and when he attempted to leave, Frank and his crew blocked the exit. Chris tried to shake Frank’s hand, but Frank’s entourage attacked him, which lead to the brawl.
Chris was at Westlake Studio in the L.A. area listening to one of the artists he represents.
The sources say as Chris went to leave, Frank Ocean and his crew blocked Chris from leaving. The sources say Frank said, “This is my studio, this is my parking spot.”We’re told Chris went to shake Frank’s hand … and that’s when one of Frank’s people attacked Chris.
Sources connected with Chris say one of Chris’ friends jumped in front and hit Frank’s friend.Sources connected with Chris say Frank then came at Chris … Chris pushed him away and they started brawling.The police were called and are on scene now.
Frank later took to twitter and announced he suffered an injured finger. “got jumped by chris and a couple of guys. lol. i only wish everest was there,” adding “cut my finger now I can’t play w two hands at the grammys.”

Chris Brown is featured on one of XXL’s December/January Issue. Here are some highlights for Breezy’s interview where he reflects on his growth as an artist, moving past hardships in his life, recent altercations, his love life and plenty more.
On the NYC Club fight with Drake: “A lot of people wanna know about the whole situation with me, Drake and Meek Mill. At the end of the day, I’m me, they’re them. They rap, I sing. Totally different caliber. I rap, I play around on mixtapes. But our words don’t collide as much as you’d think.”
On maturing: “I haven’t been as mature and thought out in the past, so, me growing now, it’s showing my progression. I used to use my Twitter account to vent, but now I mostly use it for marketing and promotions. Even if the media asks me something, if it’s cool then it’s, ‘What’s up?’ But if it’s anything that’s too negative, I don’t care to respond.”
On his love life: “One thing people often want me to talk about is my public love life. When it comes to my love life, the perception seems as though I am a player. But that’s not true. Love is something I am still learning. It’s just an obstacle that I haven’t yet mastered. I think that’s my biggest hurdle in life.”
On his music: “I use music or painting as my outlet to get through the confusion. I try to promote positivity and love.” More >
