Chanel Iman is bold and colorful on the cover of L’Officiel Paris’ February 2012 issue.
Donned in a Dolce & Gabbana short set from the Spring 2012 collection, the Victoria secret Model “borrowed the streets of Cape Town in the most beautiful passages in the spring-summer 2012.”
This issue was inspired by a noise. “Shweshwe” understand “chouichoui.”
“This is the name and the sound of a fabric when it rubs along the long legs of South African women. It is the image of Africa today, it moves, makes noise and has inspired fashion designers, attracted by the exoticism of the continent and guided by the desire to modernize folklore. Chanel Iman is featured in the January 2012 issue of Allure magazine.
The layout titled Joy Ride, was photographed by Patrick Demarchelier.
The 21-year-old Victoria Secret Model wore pieces from Gucci, Donna Karan, YSl, Calvin Klein, Prada, Fendi, Balenciaga, Michael Kors and Dolce & Gabbana.
In a recent interview, Chanel shares how she prepares for a photo shoot: “A good night’s sleep is always the best way to wake up and go to work. I go to set with clean hair and clean skin and I let the makeup artists do their job. When I get home, I always make sure that all of the makeup is off my face before I go to sleep. I use a little bit of Dermalogica cleanser to remove any extra makeup that the makeup remover may have missed, then go to sleep and wake up and do it all over again.”

Chanel Iman kisses the world’s most expensive perfume during the unveiling at the DKNY Store in NYC on Dec 5.
The 21-yr-old super model arrived with several bodyguards to show off the Gold Delicious fragrance bottles.
This special one-of-a-kind edition of the company’s top-selling scent boosts 14 karat yellow and white gold, 183 yellow sapphires, 2,700 white diamonds and a 2.43-carat yellow canary diamonds.
DKNY teamed up with famed jewelry designer Martin Katz to create a blinged out apple-shaped bottle that has already traveled to London, Mexico and Malaysia for reveals.
When asked if she rather a Million-dollar perfume or million-dollar bra, Chanel said: “I can’t say. I want them both. Actually, I don’t want the million-dollar perfume, I’d rather give it. From the bottom of my heart, honestly, I’d rather give. So maybe I’d buy the perfume because the net proceeds of the sale go to an amazing charity for DKNY.”
