On her biggest moment of 2012? I put out two singles! “Balcony,” with Young Jeezy and “The Boys,” with Nicki Minaj. I’m beyond excited! I’ve been really patient with music, and things are moving now. I couldn’t be happier. My other big moment of 2012 was going to Italy. It was my first time and I can’t wait to go back.
On the term “It girl”? Everyone’s definition of “It” is different. To me it’s a girl/woman of the moment who’s doing something positive to change the world and make her stamp on history—in fashion, politics, music, anything.
On what is “It” right now? Girls taking chances with their haircuts! Also Gabby Douglas; she won the gold medal at the Olympics and now the sky is the limit for her.
On her style philosophy for 2012 and beyond? Keep it simple. I say dress yourself for your attitude. You’ll carry it with more confidence because it’s how you really feel.
On any New Year’s resolutions? My friend Allison just did a triathlon today; it’s so inspiring. My resolution for 2013 is to try something different, something I never dreamed I could do and do it with no intent of failure.
On her goals for 2013? Album, tours and travel. My goals are to continue doing things that make me happy, stay around positive people, and take care of myself better.
On how she would like to see the world change in the coming year? Road rage has got to stop! I’m working on my personal road rage one day at a time.
On her favorite It girl of all time? Bianca Jagger. She is a style icon, but also a human-rights advocate. The best of both worlds.

Last evening, the “King Of Hearts,” singer took to twitter to tell all you bloggers and haters to stop making up ish about her relationship with Diddy and that she’s “committed” and “soooooo in LOVE.”

Cassie greeted excited fans yesterday at a “Cassie Army Ice Cream Party” in the meatpacking district of New York City.
“Cassie Army!!! 4pm!!! Meet me at 13th and Washington in Meat Packin’… I have a surprise for you!!! Shhhhhhhh!!!! Its just for you!!! Xx,” the entertainer tweeted.
Earlier, the “Me & U,” singer who recently got Beyonce‘s stamp of approval for her latest hit “King of Hearts,” stopped by BET’s “106 & Park” to perform the single and promote her upcoming album. The episode will air today at 6pm!!

Cassie is featured in the new issue of British magazine Wonderland.
Here are some excerpts from the interview.
On her absence: “Yeah I’ve been away for a while. But the time has helped me grow. I needed to grow up. What’s weird is that doing all of this…magazines, shoots, talking about things…I didn’t know whom I was talking about. I didn’t understand what was going on. But now I wanna do this. It’s all been towards the LP.”
On what to expect on the new album: “Believe it or not I’m not doing the same sound for the album. I still have R&B roots, ballads, pop, a bit of everything, it’s just fun to experiment.”
On being comfortable in her own skin: “I’m much more comfortable with where I am at right now. I’m more excited than I’ve ever been about this next project and right now I can’t wait for y’all to hear it.”
