Usher heat up the ‘TODAY’ show Summer 2012 Toyota Concert Series this morning May 18 in New York City. 

The seven-time Grammy award winner rocked the plaza for the first time by performing hits like “OMG,” and “Without U,” and singles like “Take You There,” and “Climax,” off his upcoming album Looking 4 Myself. 

During a brief interview, Usher spoke about his evolution as an artist and how important it is to be a father. 

Also performing at this year’s concert series are Justin Bieber, Chris Brown, Maroon 5, Pitbull, Bobby Brown, Flo Rida and more.
