Here’s an update on 50‘s mysterious illness, that left him hospitalized.

Yesterday, the entrepreneur/rapper tweeted a photo with a caption. “I’m feeling better today I think I’m gonna get out of the hospital soon. EMINEM called me last night I love him that’s my boy.”

Here’s what MTO is reporting: “50 cent had a blockage in his small intestine, and the doctors believed that the best way to CLEAR IT . . . is to remove a piece of 50′s colon… doctors managed to clear the blockage, using a much less invasive procedure. Doctors used an endoscope to stretch out 50′s colon, and open up the closed portion of his small intestine.”

“The use of an endoscope is a common surgical procedure, it’s inserted into the colon and used to stretch it out. No incisions are made on the patient. The procedure was done under local Anesthesia and 50 Cent is expected to be able to make a complete recovery in a relatively short period of time. Right now he’s being monitored . . . to make sure his colon doesn’t flare up.”
