Nick Cannon hosted the Project Canvas charity event at The Opera Ballroom at Crest yesterday May 11 in New York City.

Accompanied by his wife Mariah Carey, the duo were on hand to help raise money and awareness for art programs in NYC schools, which are suffering due to budget cuts.

During the event, Mariah tweeted a photo along with a caption,“At Nick’s launch for project canvas. The shoes.. Come on.. A winner!”

Meanwhile, the happy couple recently celebrated the first birthday of their twins Monroe and Moroccan with a party last month in Paris – Visit Dembabies site for more photos.
