Jennifer Hudson and her sister Julia were in court today May 11, when a Chicago jury convict William Balfour on three-counts of first degree murder for killing their mother, brother and 7-year-old nephew/son back in 2008.

Jurors deliberated for three days before reaching their verdict against William, who faces a mandatory life in prison sentence.

Mr Balfour who is 31, was also convicted of home invasion, residential burglary, aggravated kidnapping and possession of a stolen vehicle.
