Check out a just release single from Nas called “Daughters”

The new No-I.D.-produced track which is off the Veteran MC’s 10th album, features ”the feelings that fathers have, instinctively wanting to protect their own girls.”

While fans are raving and praising the new track, Carmen Bryan, Nas’s ex and mother of their 17-yr-old daughter Destiny, think otherwise.

In a series of tweets, the NY Times best selling author blast the new single and added that the rapper should spend more time with his daughter.

“Just heard “Daughters” by Nas. What a disappointment! He had nothing positive to say about our daughter and his depiction of her is false!” and “…perhaps her father should be talking to her and spending more time with her so he can really get to know her.”

Nas’ new album Life is Good will drop on July 17. Listen to the single below
