Jay-Z shares a laugh with Justin Timberlake and Jimmy Fallon at the 16th annual GQ 2011 Men of the Year party at the Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles on Thursday night Nov 17.

The father-to-be took a break from his Watch The Throne tour to attend the star-studded event where he was one of the evening’s honorees.

Also in attendance were Paula Patton, Kerry Washington, Aisha Tyler, Tyrese GibsonJessica Biel, Nicole Scherzinger and David Arquette, just to name a few.

Jay, who was crowned with top honor ‘King of the Year’ by the publication said in the interview that he vow to be a hands-on-dad. “Providing — that’s not love,” he says. Being there — that’s more important. I mean, we see that. We see that with all these rich socialites. They’re crying out for attention; they’re hurting for love. I’m not being judgmental — I’m just making an observation. “They’re crying out for the love that maybe they didn’t get at home, and they got everything, all the material things that they need and want. So we know that’s not the key.”
