Nicki Minaj makes history as first female rapper on Forbes Hip-Hop Cash Kings list

Not only is he riding high on the top of the charts with ‘Watch The Throne,’ but Jiggaman is also sitting at the top of Forbes annual top paid Hip Hop artists.
Earning $37 million in the past 12 months, Jay-z has reap the benefits of a 10-year $150 million Live Nation deal, as well as stakes in the New Jersey Nets, the 40/40 Club chain, ad firm Translation and others. Making this the 4th Cash King title in 5 years.

Although music now accounts for less than 20% of earnings, Diddy came second with $35 million, thanks to big stakes in clothing lines Sean John and Enyce, record label Bad Boy and marketing firm Blue Flame. But it’s his Ciroc vodka deal that led FORBES to estimate his net worth at $475 million this winter.

Kanye West came in 3rd with $16 million for his platinum album My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, and with Watch The Throne tour this year, that number will be higher come next year.
Lil Wayne came in at no. 4 with $15 million despite serving eight months in jail last year.
